Early Tuesday morning, multiple homes were evacuated in Pacific after a breach of the levee, just hours after another incident on the Green River near Tukwila.

About two hours after a levee on the lower Green River broke, bringing the possibility of a life-threatening flash flood to parts of Tukwila, King County Executive Girmay Zahilay held a press conference outside the King County Emergency Operations Center in Renton.

A flash flood warning was issued in west-central King County after a levee failure was reported along the Green River, and people are being asked to evacuate now and find higher ground. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Seattle pushed a flash flood warning because of the failure at the Desimone Levee along Todd Boulevard,
